Time keeps on slippin', slippin', slippin'...

So, I didn't post anything when George turned 11 months. I thought about it but didn't follow through. Well, he's eleven months. He loves to clap and play peek-a-boo. His favorite book to read is I'll Love You Forever. His favorite book to eat is Smiles. He is still working on four molars and they cause him some grief. He is getting tired of formula and he doesn't take a binky as often as he used to. He takes a sippy cup like a champ. He enjoys being chased around the halls during the last hour of church. It's a good thing I have really good primary kids or I would not be able to indulge him in that. He lately does not sit as quietly during Sacrament meeting as he used to. I have had to take him out once. I don't enjoy taking children out of church during Sacrament meeting and I hope I don't have to do it again. The same day I broke my "don't take kids out" rule, I broke the "no treats in the chapel" rule. I was trying anything to not have to take him out. But yesterday I didn't break either rule. I hope it stays that way. We'll see. Oh, he will no longer willingly take a nap. I have to trick him into napping. It's very difficult.

I am enrolled in my first real college course since starting with BYU's Independent Study program. I am taking Child Development Psychology. I love it so far! I always loved psychology but I decided when I got back from the mission to pursue Spanish Education. I'm glad I get to get back into psychology. It's so interesting. I read the textbook for fun.

Glen is working on some online courses as well to obtain his Arizona teaching license. He really shouldn't have to since he is working at a charter school and they are technically not required to have a license to work there. But he is doing it so that they will offer him another contract for next year. He really wants to pursue his Masters and I can't wait until I can give him that. We decided to wait one more year before becoming starving students.

I am ROFL. If you can make it through your kids w/o ever having to take them out of sacrament or give them treats, I will buy you a new car.

It can't be done I tell you. Can't be done.

ha ha ha. Keep up that goal. If anyone can do that, it'll be you! I will make that my goal when she is a little bit older. He sounds just like McKinnly right now only as it turns out, she's turned into quite the bully. Lol

By Relief Society he's so ready for a nap it's ridiclous! Goose's party is on Saturday :) So So wish you could be here :(
