Glen was told last week that he was chosen out of the whole music department as a nominee for the College of Performing and Visual Arts Board of Trustees Scholarship. This meant he was to go up against a nominee from each of the other schools in the CPVA, for example, someone from the theater department, dance department, etc. He had to make a powerpoint presentation and present himself in front of a panel of judges. His interview was yesterday and to no one's surprise, he won! So now he gets a scholarship on top of his other two scholarships and he will go up against the winner from each of the other colleges at SUU. He is so amazing and talented and amazingly talented. He teaches piano lessons to two girls from our ward and today I left my office door open so that I could listen. He is a wonderful, patient teacher! He is going to be the greatest dad! (Someday) I wish I had some talent I was so good at that someone paid me to do it and to get better at it... Oh well. I guess I will always have to pay for my schooling. Lame. Anyway, Glen is the most amazing person I know and I am so lucky to have him in my life!
