We have not been the best when it comes to regularly scheduled family
nights. We spend 24 hours a day together so sometimes it doesn't feel
necessary. But lately I have wanted to make sure we make an effort just
for the blessings of being obedient and instilling in George and Ollie a
sense of tradition. Last week we all make french bread pizzas together
and George got to put his toppings on. Then we sangs songs around the
piano (this is a must every FHE). Tonight we went bowling. We went
before dinner so we could come home, eat dinner, sing and then relax. It
was so much fun! Last time we took George to a bowling alley he didn't
want to sit still and he didn't want to stay by us. He wanted to be
every where else. This time he loved it! He wanted it to be his turn all
the time. But he figured out that he had to take turns. We played one
game together. Then I needed to feed the baby so George played his own
game with Glen's help. He just keep throwing his ball down the lane and
yelling, "Again, again!". We will be repeating this family activity!
Here are some pictures of the last game:

These were taken with my phone because my camera battery charger is missing. It's always something.... |

He had a pink ball that he could carry but when he was too impatient to wait for the ball return he tried to get this one on his own |

He loved the little ball chute |

We are the same way. We've just started getting better about having FHE and we are loving it!
